BBC upsets Linux users

The BBC has been spending a lot of licence payer’s money on marketing the new iPlayer with a huge advertising campaign where many of the channels stars are telling viewers how good the service is.

The service is good, in fact being able to check on a missed program for up to seven days after it was shown is a great idea and unlike many applications, this service is free to licence payers, this means that virtually every household in the UK can use it, or so we thought.

Apparently only users with windows can use the iPlayer so anyone who uses another operating system could be in for a surprise! You would have thought that an organisation the size of the BBC may have looked into this before launching!
