AT&T may filter content

Following an announcement at the CES this week, it would seem that the telecommunications giant AT&T may be considering to filter internet content, this may initially seem a innocent decision, but really when you think about it, this could be considered as censoring, and until now virtually all ISP’s have not done this sort thing.

There are so many things that should be against this like civil rights, free speech and freedom of information. This is not likely to prove to be a great practice.

There are a whole lot of problems that this throws up, like who decides what you can look at? But most importantly is the fact that would this mean sites would be blocked or that the company would be checking what sites you have been looking at in your own home?
