The cost of filling up an iPod

When the mp3 was new tech, the memory was key to how many tracks one could keep on the device which was not too bad, but memory has become more readily available and as a result we have seen the memory of such device increase dramatically.

So as with devices like the Apple iPod which comes with various memory sizes, but in order to be able to fill these devices to capacity it is estimated that users will have to fork out thousands of pounds on buying tracks trough sites such as iTunes etc.

Which just goes to argue the point about the cost of downloads and answers the question of why do people use sites that offer pirated copies?
