uTorrent makes download gains

Having an install rate of around five per cent of what Windows has, may not seem to be a great deal. But utorrent has achieved this and by doing so it has made it the most popular installed application on Bit Torrent, while Azureus the favourite from last year has been pushed down to third place.

There has been some dispute over the figures, whether they are correct and that the other applications like Azureus the figure for them may also be distorted because of the amount of users who took part in the spyware scan.

However having that uTorrent may not use the Windows registry either so the figures quoted for that install could be even higher than they have been credited for.
