Gmail offers colour coding

There was a time when email was just a message, but these days an email account means so much more than just a way of sending simple messages.

Gmail from Google have changed the way that people use email and what users want from email, in some ways this is great, but there is the possibility of it becoming too over complicated, like this system that uses colour coding for different types of message, so that they can see who is saying what, but why?

All that this does is highlight certain emails for them to notice in the inbox, which is fine if you have plenty of time on your hands, but will busy people who get hundreds of emails a day use it? Probably!
