4 TB Hard Drives coming soon

As technology relentlessly moves on, it is a general view that devices will either become smaller or better and in some cases both. But making things smaller throws up complications, for hard drives it means by making them smaller the magnetic field would be harder to detect. But with major advances in reading head technology means that smaller hard drives have no problem now.

It is understood that the development in hard drive capacity doubles every couple of years, which may not sound a lot, but doubling is huge when the figures reach the high end numbers. This is why we are looking at seeing PC’s with 4 TB of storage and laptops will not miss out either as they will be reaching 1 TB of storage.
