Dell to be carbon Neutral

Way back 1992 was when Michael Dell first considered making a computer completely out of recyclable materials. But it has taken nearly fifteen years for the second largest computer maker to reach the point where they can declare. “Dell will be carbon neutral in 2008”.

The company has been working hard on being environmentally friendly; they even managed to save $1.8 million on their electric bills just by turning off the machinery that was not in use at night, which has to be a lesson for us all.

Dell is also starting a “Plant a Tree” program where buyers can opt in at a charge of $2 or $6.
