Microsoft sued over downgrade charge

Somehow we knew that something like this could happen, Microsoft are being sued by a woman after they charged her around £45 to downgrade her Windows Vista operating system to Windows XP.

This could be the start of a long winded nightmare for Microsoft as the woman, Emma Alvarado from LA, is inviting other Windows users who have experienced the same thing to join the case and make their claims part of a class action.

This could be a long term trend for Microsoft, because what do they do when Windows 7 is released, do they allow their users to have free downgrade to XP if they are not happy with it. The problem could simply go on for years if they did.
