Duel light monitor by LG

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next month is set to show off some great ideas, but one that is bound to be of interest to all laptop users is the new display being brought in by the manufacturer LG.

This display is set to revolutionise how users can work on their laptops and more importantly where, because anyone who has tried to work with direct sunlight hitting the screen will know that it virtually disappears and that is no good at all.

The new display has an adaptive backlight; this can be changed at the push of a button. So when the sun is shining directly on the screen the user presses the button and the trans reflective display reflects the sun light and when the sun has gone the user just presses the button once more to return to the normal setting.
