Companies could generate own power

No business owner could have failed to have noticed that the price of oil has been roller coasting up and down over the last year of so, this should serve as warning to businesses that the price of power is always going to be a source for concern.

However for all businesses it not always practical to produce their own power or even a small boost to it, but there are calls that businesses should prepare to provide either all or a part of their power requirements, this is particularly true when it comes to data centres and hi tech firms.

The are other reasons why a business should look at producing their own power for the following reasons:

Threatened Supply and Hungry Demand Build the Case for Self-Production
Carbon Legislation is Pushing Up Costs
Incentives for Onsite Renewables Production are Rising
Creative Finance Options Abound

However, as ever this is going to mean investment and at the moment, most businesses do not have the capacity to fund investments of this nature.
