Chrome begins to fade

It seems that the initial surge of users switching to the new Chrome browser from Google could be fading as the latest figures suggest that many of those users who tried out the browser have actually returned to using the old favourite Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.

It was to be expected anyhow, after all Chrome is still in beta, and there are sometimes the occasional bugs, which can freeze the browser every now and then. However, the figures speak for themselves.

According to the company Net Applications who track forty thousand sites, they have seen the browsers share fall from 0.85% to .77% in just a week. These are not huge figures and no doubt, Google are not going to be worried about it.
