Flight crew want internet filters

Some airlines may be facing cost-cutting measures. Then there are others who are investing in services to attract more customers. One of these new features is the introduction mobile broadband or Wi-Fi, but there are problems facing this new addition to in flight entertainment.

The idea of being able to access the internet while being in the air would appeal to many travellers, as this would enable them to keep up to date with anything happening at work or home. This is a real convenience and is going to be used a great deal.

However, flight crews are aware that the internet also has a darker side; therefore, they are worried that some travellers are inclined to watch porn. This could be a problem with families and other passengers who happen to be sitting near the person watching porn.

Flight crews have already received numerous complaints and are therefore calling for porn filters to be applied to the networks.
