Computerised tables in London restaurants
The time has come when going out for dinner is not going to be a simple as ordering your favourite food, because at the Inamo restaurant in London’s Soho district, the diners will find that they order their food from the computerised table.
We have seen this in action when Microsoft demonstrated a similar idea. Each table is like a huge monitor from where the diners are able to order their food, taxis, play games and even interact with other diners in the restaurant.
Whether this is a simple gimmick or that it will catch on is down to what the customers think of the system and how it could become an integral part of restaurant culture. One place where a system like would be useful is in the fast food sector where speed and convenience are an essential part of the process.
