Dell releases mini laptop

Dell has launched their answer to the Asus Eee, the Inspiron Mini 9 has an Intel Atom Diamondville Processor, 1024 x 600 LED Backlit Screen, the option of choosing 4, 8, or 16 Gb SSD and battery that should be good at least three hours.

It will initially be loaded with Windows XP and be available in either black or white. However, there will be further options coming out later, like the Ubuntu OS option, which is going to be around £25 cheaper that the XP version and the choice of colour, which has been available on the larger screen version of the Inspiron.

What is cool, Dell will sell you one for £50 when you buy another Dell computer, it just does not get any better than that!
