Filesharers get free legal help

It is no secret, that games developers are going after around 25,000 alleged filesharers in the UK.

They have instructed their lawyers, Davenport Lyons to send these people a letter demanding a payment of £300 or go to court.

It is a similar way that on the spot fines work, you can pay a small amount to finish it off, get a lawyer or take a chance to defend yourself against the claim in court. No doubt, some people would take the easier option of paying the £300.

But now there could be some help available, as a solicitor advocate, Michael Cole has said that he will represent as many people as possibly can against these claims, for free!

This could be the beginning of a fight against these legal cases being taken out against ordinary people, who are with limited resources and are likely to have no help in defending these allegations made against them.
