What’s wrong with OpenOffice?
Most people know about Open Office and that it has an answer for virtually of the products offered by Microsoft but without the need for paying out hard earned cash. This you would have thought would be enough for Open Office to wipe the floor with Microsoft, wouldn’t you?
However clearly this has not happened, for despite the success of Open Office it is still not making much of dent in the billions that Microsoft rakes in from the sale of their products to both business and individuals.
The problem that people find with Open Office is simple, yes the product is good and can open up all files that turn up in a Microsoft format, but there can be some compatibility concerns when it comes to sending the files back and forth. Business cannot afford this as it shows bad practice, while individuals may find it ok.
