iGoogle turns social

Many users of Google and in particular the personalised pages of iGoogle would have noticed that the page has changed somewhat over the past few years of so. In fact with Google looking to add features which can only be described as social tools, then, is this the direction that Google is heading for?

To add to this Google is also planning even more features next month, with Canvas being the tool that will enable people to utilise their gadgets on the personalised pages.

The iGoogle page has developed nicely over a short period of time, whatever the needs and desires of the users, it seems that Google have been listening to what feedback they have been getting and have come up with the goods. The problem is once they start down this road there is no turning back.
