A computer that knows beauty

For many people the saying is true, that “Beauty is in the eye beholder” which is just as well otherwise there would be many people on their own for their entire lives. But imagine a scenario where a computer can determine whether or not some body is beautiful or not!

Well a computer sciences graduate from the Tel Aviv University has done just that, he has managed somehow to teach a computer how to evaluate the looks of women, this done by taking many different types of view into consideration.

The computer processes the symmetry and smoothness of skin, looks at the colour of the hair, and so on, how this is going to work in the real world is anyone’s guess. The final factor was to take the judgement of thirty men who were each shown the images of a 100 women, these results are then all calculated and the perfect woman is found.
