Student killed by his laptop

At first it would appear amusing, however this is serious, deadly serious in fact.

The student who was twenty years old from Shanghai, China, was using the laptop as normal, it was a very hot day, but for some reason he did not want to put the air conditioning on. While he worked away the computer began to heat up. Still not bothering with the air conditioning he proceeded to remove the outer casing of it, in order to let some cooler air in and stop it from completely failing.

While he continued to work away, he failed to notice that his legs were getting wet with sweat and with the casing missing it was only a matter of time, the exposed wires and wet legs combined to create a lethal situation. Until eventually the damp and electricity mixed, the student received a lethal electric shock.

Two things here. Do not remove the outer casing from a laptop while it is plugged into the mains and wear some trousers while you work!
