Google mining fears

Data mining just got easier, what used to be a painstakingly hard and labour intensive job, data mining has become much easier with the introduction of certain programmes and tools. This means that people who use the internet to search for people and information can do this work much faster and meaning that work can done in much shorter time.

This is both good and bad, depending on how you look at it, on the one hand the authorities can track the bad guys that they are after much more quickly than before and therefore it is also means that the bad guys who like collect the private details of people for the purposes of identity fraud etc.

Google hacking has nothing to do with the search engine really, it means searching the internet visiting all of those hidden places on the net searching for sites that have public files which may contain usernames and passwords from which other information can be gained such as credit card numbers and bank account details.

The thing about this is if websites had proper security measures in places, Google Hacking wouldn’t be a problem at all.
